Bugger! Hope it heals up alright Trace. That'll learn ya for goin for a run, heheh.

Oh, and my flatmate was very upset that you ripped the tinsel off... so you are forgiven

Well KBeers it was a nice day today. Thanks to all of you who came out to play. had great fun meeting new people and catching up with the old friends.

Some of the highlights for me:

Turning up to westgate to find 20 bikers already waiting to go for a ride.

Having a good number of female presence certanly made the event more enjoyable and different

Dry roads and tar-less corners was just brilliant. Couldnt have gotten a better riding weather than today.

biker family that did the ride with us - good people. The family member with the Hyosung - please be so kind not to overtake me from the left in the future as it scares me and I dont like being scared laynice:

redhead police-woman giving a big grin or kaikohe what is it about women in uniform - I dunno...

The whole KB crew that I havent met before - very nice meeting you and spending the day with you falks. Would gladly ride with any of you any day. Thanks for coming along and hope we see you on the next one

Mr Ej being the photo man of the ride even if he didnt do the ride himself. O we salute you your Ej highness.

Mr and Mrs. Ducati*Hard - was nice to ride with you two kb celebrities. You trully deserve your fame for riding Hard...

QkChk and QkKid - cheers for the company. That green ninja of yours QkKid sure goes well for a 250cc...

    Low lights:

Sorry abour yr paintjob Max - let me know if you want me to post or email you pics I took. How does your thumb feel ?

That damn gravel bit after the twin bridges That was not fun.

Glice having a moment on his bike...sorry to hear that buddy. Sorry we found it funny - you get a "take the piss out of anyone at anytime " card for next ten rides to make up for it.

My speedo going nuts on me (I think after that gravel) - basically shows me that I'm doing 40 - 50km/h when I taugh I'm doing 100km/h - wtf...

All in all a bloody primo day, great people, wicked twisties. Thanks all

Phew~! What an epic adventure for me and my poor little cruiser.
Must have spent 60% of the time on full throttle, adn still had no chance of catching up

Loved the forest! Popped my "peg scrape" cherry on a right hander

Had an awesome time. Mad props to Murray and Badger for being the patient charlies behind me .......

    3. Ah forgot to upload this one. Street Triple.

Have a safe ride guys. Sorry about the photo size, I forgot to switch it to a bigger resolution before taking the photos.

    So lets count...

    Total of 33 riders.

Only eight 250s, 12 Mid Class bikes (400 to 800), seven Litre Class bikes (900 to 1050) and five higher than litre bikes and one more I couldn't get a photo of.

So much for a 250s ride!
I was possibly the bike you couldn't get a photo of. You had the camera down as I came around the corner. I was on a 250 ninja (blue) and left the ride at Wellsford. Had things to do and wasn't comfortable with the whole group ride thing. Not sure why I even turned up but enjoyed myself. Carried on riding and found Puhoi packed as they were having wood chopping there.
Maybe one day I'll come on another ride and be more relaxed, but think group rides aren't my cup of tea.
I'm amazed you didn't get rained on, did think of you when the skies opened up here.

Cheers for another good ride. I had an awsome time, fuggin love those twisties, didnt want to stop. No worries about laughing, I was having a laugh myself.

I also have a tip for the hyobang rider. dont pass someone coming into a corner if you cant get round the corner quicker than them. You did that to me quite afew times and could have caused an accident.
