thaks for all the messages guys... im okay, but have just heard back from insurance company and my bike has been written off. Im waiting to head out to the insurance place at 4pm to try and get back my smuggler and numberplate etc

so yes im very gutted, my baby aint gonna be coming home
BUt insurance company have already said they are going to send cheque this afternoon... so i guess at some stage i have to start looking for a new bike... but problem is that i don't want anything other than my bike!

Well at least insurance is playing ball and paying out quickly. Did they cover gear damage as well?
Might be able to find a good K7 out there for less than the insurance cheque tho? maybe?

It is sad to lose a bike you really love, but these are mass produced and there are many more out there that are pretty much the same. Don't be put off - get out there on a new bike and get riding again ASAP. Getting straight back on the horse and all that sort of thing.

Yea, too many broken fairings = writeoff. Personally I see it as a good thing... saves waiting around waiting for it to get repaired!

Finding a new Gixxer should be easy, there's just so darn many of them!!

Yeah i saw trace chatting to the cops with her poor baby looking quiet beat up. But if you got out with just a few bumps and buises it's all good.
