Oh no that sucks, but glad you are aright. The bike can be rebuilt or replaced but I would be hard to replace you.

I hope you have rescued your mascot from the front, don't let him disappear.

Keith, just a thought that goes through my mind following events such as yours.

Is the "diesel" still out there just waiting for the next bike to come along!

This is a reaction I've heard from a lot of people mid-crash... your adrenaline is pumping and everything seems to be going in slow motion so you think you've stopped - when actually you're still sliding! A lesson for others in this situation. Remember to make sure you've really stopped before you stand up!

Damn thats getting close to home! Always a bit of a reminder of our vulnerability out there. So good to hear you are ok. Shit stuff that diesel, hit some in the Buller gorge in my RX2 some yrs back and managed to park it in a gravel berm instead of taking the "long drop" -scary stuff.
