Slowest cnut in the Bay
Theres a trackday at Manfield this Saturday hosted by Pacific motor racing club. A mate of mine races in their series which is on Sunday, but the trackday for anyone is on Sat, and only $50.
He told me tonight he's put my name down, so I guess I'm going!!
Never been to Manfield.
Anyone want to come down nurse maid me around, theres room on the bike trailer for another bike.
Just going for Saturday only, back late arvo.

Aye Dooly, can’t make it this weekend as I have work. TB testing on Monday and have to get things sorted for that. Patrick will be down on Sunday for rounds 2. It is hard to get a shed down there so take a Pergola or similar if you don’t like the heat and sun. It is not like Taupo. Have a blast mate but stay upright.

I would have loved to be there cos Manfeild is a good fast track tends to rip your tyres up though. Bikes laid up for a while and I'm getting ready for the Beach. Have a good one down there

Thought I'd email Dave @ Kiwibike to see if I'd be covered insurance wise for the trackday even tho its not a Motto GP, manufacturer one, just a club event.
Yep, full covered, with the normal higher excess for the day as per with the other brand TDs.
I'm impressed.

Hope theres not too many RH corners, damn I hate those at speed on the road.
Ahh well, learning curve.
Dale's been on that track before, I'll just follow him around eh...
Have stripped all the road bits, plate, indicators, mirrors, etc, off the Duc, might as well get some use out of it as a track bike.
But then again a Triumph 675 is veeeerry appealing..........

Manfield runs clockwise - so guess what?? You are gunna so be able to cope with fast right handers by day's end...Cheers G, hopefully the rain will keep away.
