Good to hear you okay and safe & sound at home... rest up a bit... then get some autosol, some elbow grease and polish the scratches out will be good as new

Not good about your daughter though... hope all is okay there (must run in the family huh... )

sorrry about your bike man, i know how you feel, mine was written off last week, after a crash on motorway. Although it was low speed, and no damage was done to me, more than superficial marks were done to the bike because a van drove over it

I haven't read the whole thread, but hopefully you either get the bike fixed soon, or insurance comes through quickly and you get a replacement!

Funny you should say that. I was just reading an article in the "Gisborne Herald" and I quote,
"A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck the remote Kermadec Islands north of NZ on Sunday. The quake hit 80km south of Raoul Island. It was registered at a shallow depth of 10km. No tsunami warning was immediately issued"

    Must have been the aftershock....

Glad to hear that you are in one piece But there must be easier ways of getting a new bike! Take it easy and let everyone run around after you for a while.

So good to see you made it back all in one piece mate. Just read your post now, saw the pictures and thought "shit this is not good, he's stuck on the north island..."

Looking at the pictures I doubt it'll all just pop back into place if you push it a bit harder like with the headlight. Bugger...

Good thing your daugther didn't get hurt too badly as well!

One chain two sprockets and a Pro_oiler beats a drive shaft any day, (economically) do the math, especially where it's up against a BMW set up! John.

    30,000km is a lifetime?

I have done in excess of 40,000km in less than two years without even trying!

Just replaced one chain set (under $400:00) and part of that was to change the gearing. John.

Glad you made it home safely. Glad your daughter isn't too badly hurt. Think you both need to rest up & relax. heal well
