The boots, do they have to be motorbike boots, or can they be normal street or hiking boots? I have Blundstone elastic sided leather Aussie boots, or laced up tramping boots (not leather) or I have Sorel mountain winter boots. Will any of those do?

Doh !!! I hear the sound of thunder calling me that weekend !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

The Blundstone elastic sided leather boots (like the ones below) are not suitable as they could come off in a cropper...

If the Sorel mountain winter boots are like the one pictured below they will be ok.

MotoTT often books out quickly. You can always cancel your booking if circumstances change. As long as you're decent about it and give enough notice your spot will go to someone else on the waiting list or someone on the day.

Even if you're pre-paying you only have to pay about a week out to take advantage of the lower rate so I'd say book in soon.
