    Leaky tank.

Any advice on the best way to plug a hole in a plastic dirt bike tank (KDX200)? Cheers.

i carry a tube of nead it when riding for stuff like this but it is only a temperary fix, other options could be plastic weld, or pick up a second hand
tank or if the hole is small enough you could use a self tapping screw with a rubber washer to seal.

PVA glue! Worked for me anyway, you may need to use a couple of applications to get a decent thickness, but that stuff dries hard and isnt affected by petrol.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Fuel tanks are bitch to plastic weld if you dont know what your doing. Obviously you need to have the right kind of plastic, but go to a proper plastic welder with an injection welder if youre gonna pay someone for it. Ive tried with a heat welder and rods, it doesnt work! If its only a small hole you may be able to get it for free..... i always try anyway.
