Ooo thats mean! I'm sure they're already kicking themselves without anyone rubbing it in.

We were the faster group. By the time most of the 2 fiddy riders arrived at the lake, we were all set to press on. Had nice fish & chips, Saw a big tree, a pretty harbour, a big traffic jam, nice people on motorbikes, a raving nutter of a skinhead in a car giving us the fingers 'cos we dared to overtake him, & lots of corners. Oh, and I didn't get a ticket.

Thanks for a top day everyone.

Glad we had such a great day for a ride. Quite happy with the unexpectidly light traffic away from sh1 and general road condition.

Nice cruisy ride - no idiotic behaviour, no bins.

Water was absolutely brilliant - like a giant swimming pool - next time I'll bring a ball for the kids that didnt go in ze water.

Really happy to meet the people behind the keyboard.

    Highlights:

Walking on the beach in full biker gear with helmets and everything and all people looking at us - lol

Badger and Fizbin definately take the prize for loudest and funniest laughs.

Rie taking some air time on the trampoline. - wow

Gremlin with his stories and ever entertaining gravel eating, petrol station sliding katoom. He is also a cage scaring biker GIANT...man I need to take apic of this next time...

EatOrBeEaten - yr accent and stories are fabulous

Thank for Fizzy for the BBQ abd hospitality. Except he forgot to tell us that his house and street and driveway aint bike friendly with those crazy slopes

    Lowlights:

sorry some of you delt with the smurfs - it wasnt a guy in a unmarked Hyunday by any chanse, was it? But at least you didn't have to deal with ambos which would have been worse imo.

didnt get to see the new tunnel, but from what I hear it was not worth going trough the SH1 traffic just to see a tiney tunnel - they should have made it longerrrrrrrr.

So awesome stuff and thank for all of you who joined - really made my day to ride with all of you.

    Happy chinese new year everybody

That was the prick that got me. BUT it wasn't anything I did. We passed some superintendent sitting in the traffic, he got his facts wrong, now we're being charged for something we never did You can bet your ass we're gonna fight it. (if any one can recommend a good lawyer it would be appreciated)
Spoilt what was otherwise a bloody good day, cheers Toto.

    NOT GUILTY MYSELF

to the boys that did get singled out, can you ask the nice officers to explain how they identified your number plates whilst you were admittedly on one wheel on the other side of the road? Nice 1 cops. how many black bikes were theyre .... 7 ? 8?

Excellent ride! Me and dad split from the group and went our own way back from the lakes, we wanted a bit of a faster pace, somewhere between slow and fast, if you get what I mean, had to get back before 7.

Bugger about the plods, and the bloody traffic before the TollRoad. Although it was excellent fun passing motorists who would have been sitting in that que for an hour (it was about 8 or so km long!).

Will be keen to join in another ride with you guys any time!

How about a cape to cape learner ride? Just kidding
