PS this is what clutch end fitting looks like. I thought the handle end fitting was soldered on so i heated it up but it was just a slug of solder which quickly became a puddle. Now im not sure whether to try and remove the clutch end of the cable in case it too turns to goo. Im sure i can jury rig something together ..

Not a lot of change today, you could try some of the brake shops perhaps.

Sorry, didn't see this yesterday, yes can help... you just want a new end?

Easiest way is to go into Safe R Brakes on Fitzgerald Ave and ask Guy or Gary to sell you what you're after.

Make your own - for normal barrel lever end nipples I just use an 8mm bolt cut to length and drill a hole. The other end can be harder, some really small dia tubing is good...or again, just use a small dia bolt.
