Well i only just got home and showered now, damn that feels better! Thanks for an awesome ride Toto, a nice chilled out pace was just what i needed for my aching body
Was great to meet a few new people, and see many old faces out and about. Best day and night i've had in far too long.

    Few highlights:
waking up on time and realizing i was actually gonna be up to a ride!

talking absolute rot over lunch in dargs.

Trudging down the beach in full bike gear, hearing "You're a bit overdressed" like 7 times in a row... "ONE MORE TIME!!! I DARE YA!!!"

Swimming / wallowing. Water was a tad warm for cooling off, but was still bloody good fun wallowing round and talkin rot.

Poor Reido shivering away while the rest of us were nice and toasty.

Fizzy and m'self finally finding a match for our 'wit', and having a bloody good laugh all day. Damn those cool beverages went down well

EatOrBeEaten, i just love that scottish brough, and your bloody fantastic sense of humour "Nah, he's a gentleman... He'd do it on my face!" Quote of the year!
Hope the pace down the moron-way was alright, forgot when we set out you're flyin the L-plate. Cant believe you've only been on the bike a week and a half, you're doing bloody great

Fizzy again for the gracious hospitality as always, and braving the dodgiest sounding pub in west auckland to get us some beers. Well worth the effort mate

And i take the idiot of the night award... After getting all of 5 minutes sleep all night, fizzy wanders out...
"You do realize that's a lazy boy right?"
    "Huh?"
*Opens legs out, chair instantly becomes super comfy and i'm in heaven*
    "OH!!! YOU TWAT!!!"

Catch you all around real soon i hope!

I went as far as Wellsford, had to get home to get some shit done (shouldn't have bothered).

The highlight for me was hanging with Rie (who's an awesome rider), she's been hanging with GIJoe and GSXRTrace - I recognise the lines.

Second best highlight was the tunnel, in first gear at 14,000 RPM... And then going past the cagers, all 8-10 k's worth. That's right suckers, I was laughing at y'all!
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Thanks TOTO for a organising a great ride
It was fab meeting so many new and 'old' people off KB.

The ride was fun and I didn't notice any norty cage behaviours myself, although there were two young bikers entertaining the slow ride with their riding antics

The lake was so warm, I could tell by standing knee deep in the lake

Thanks to every one who's combined effort made for a fabulous day

And to DH for the one mono I saw

Ten points to Fizzbin for firing up his Barby....... ooops sorry Fizzy, wasn't ment to let that out....... He quickly deflated her and lit the Bar-B-Que while we took over his deck

All over it was a great day and a nice evening to end it off.

My PC won't let me put up any pics, it is not in the mood for uploading
    I will try again later

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Well o.k. I have finally got round to posting.
Thanks TOTO one again a well organized and fun ride.

    Highlights for me.... the ride!
was good to catch up with everyone i hadn't seen for a while and the curse was just what i needed to unwind before i have to start the new job on Tuesday.
Roz you are truly one dodgy person! you will definitely fit in well in this neck of the woods.
The After BBQ was good however getting to bed at i think 3am i have discovered is way to late for me these days.... god i am old!.
i have about 80 odd photos from the trip and will try to post some of those up in the next day or so.

Thanks all for the good time and laugh will have to do this again soon.

I have JUST returned home and had a very, very long shower, now feel slightly more human!

Yesterday was bloody brilliant, couldn't have asked for a better start to the whole KB experience. Points of note:

Mad props to TOTO for organising the ride and making sure us L-platers had a pace we could match without feeling like our brains were going to leak out our ears. You're good company over a sausage too! :P

Best bit for me was the ride up to the lookout point. Scenery so good I could've crashed the Kwak with all my gawking at it, lovely corners for me to practice my corner-fu on, all good.

Cheers to Fiz for the all back to his as well, was really nice to sit, chill and talk bikes (and general bollocks) to some new people. Lovely to meet Sharry, Cain, Badger8 and Mark too! (and boys- I'll deny anything I said whilst wankered at 3am on the deck- it's all lies! )

Being overtaken by a scooter (OK, a 400, but still!).

Watching the two G-Men give us a lesson in sensible, mature riding

being mean to poor Reido. He took it like a gentleman though...

Got pics which I'll upload after I get some food- haven't eaten all day!
has developed a love of big fours. WTF!

After a bit of time to think it over, we should be sweet (I hope) the twat has tried to do both of us for the same thing, because he only had a couple of digits of the plate of the offender so he obviously doesn't have any idea who it was, so really can't prove anything. Any lawyer worth half his money will get the idiot laughed out of court
