When does the new Mum get to leave hospital?

Lucky for you shes going to need a bit off help when she comes out, otherwise you might be eating hospital food for a while yourself after your comments.
Congrats from me as well of course.

And may he be as well behaved as you were.

And I'm looking for that loud trumpet and drum set for his birthday.

Sounds like the little fellow has just stepped in the front door and sorting out his space. Wonder what the animals are doing...

Just letting you all know i am now home for the horrispital, and D is heading there!

nah not really cos he will be required around here for a few days... hehe I guess woodstock is out sunshine! Thats probably fitting punishment for the rather interesting description of the birth. Tho it was pretty much like that without the oh so graphic descriptions.
Waters broke 2pm while at work (I didn't even get ONE day off! Sheesh...)
so back home to check with my backup midwife (I had just meet for the first time 2 days earlier) cos the main one is on holiday and pretty much straight into hospital.
Did a check as we got there to find I was already 3cms dilated, and with moderate contractions happening but had to wait till my lunch had gone thru (how was I do know i was having a baby that day??!) before we could have the CS. So technically sorta an emergency CS but not really as we knew it was happening and had time to get things sorted.
7.32 the wee non ginga was born and i have some rather interesting photos of it all, amazing how breech babies come out.
And home today 4 days later, I'm feeling sweet and baby is doing well.

Thanks for all your thoughts and comments, and please dont make me laugh anymore cos ma tummy is still a wee bit sore!

    Really?

I heard on (good authority) that he just hatched in the hot sun and started squawking! "where's me bike" "where's me bike" John.
