Question 1 where the hell have you been? Haven't seen you on the Wednesday night rides for a while.

Question 2 Did you tell him about the rides ??
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

    In relation to the OP.
On my way back from Helensville, and some chicky babe on a scooter with jeans and a tank top takes both hands off the handles and does this horrendously OTT wave at me ha ha, as if she'd just downed a couple litres of caffeine. Fuck it was funny!
Almost fell off trying to laugh and perve at the same time. Goddamn single threaded brain processor.

I always found it hilarious to be in full leathers - on the shop's loaner scooter. Sitting there looking like ghostrider and laughing my arse off doing all of 45 km/h at WOT.
Too bad there's no way you could get your knee down on that thing - you lean it over even the slightest and the centerstand starts scraping

The best is when you drop your bike off at the shop and take the bus to work in full gear, plus carrying your helmet.

It didn't occur to me until afterwards that I could have left my gear at the shop with the bike. May have saved me a few odd looks on the bus and a comment from the driver "where's the bike?" but oh well

Apparently helmets are a bit like tyres. The foam goes off over time and your sweat and hair products affect it too.

Can't remember how long it was but apparently helmets should be replaced after something like 2-5 years.

They will not let a 5 year old helmet on the track, says something.

    Some sort of record?

After all the many tedious posts about people not wearing ATGATT we now have a post complaining because somebody was wearing a full set of good quality gear?

I need to have a lie down and think about this...
