its ok, its a 2t, apparently they cost nothing to rebuild!!!

oh don't forget the valve reseating/grinding and possibly some new Titanium valves, inspect the cams, reset valve clearances, new timing chain etc that go with it.
Don't forget Telliman's into MX not enduro so the power delivery of the 4 stroke (his CRF) is the thing to have in that arena. Thats until someone cares enough make a 2smoker go like that. But Telli was a 2 stroke man he's just winding us all up
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

haha, either way it was a loaded question. i ride enduro / trail events as well as compete in mx events.

in the club i race in, at the top 3 of the A grade, there are 2 2stroke 250s and a 4 stroke 450.

its a myth that 2 strokes are no good. its all about the marketing from the manufacturers as you've mentioned before reckless.

yeh but there's is some merit in the 4 stroke. I've been told by some very good racers that the 4T power delivery is an advantage. It is very linear and I can see how it would aid lap times.
Thats comparing the undeveloped YZ250/Cr250/Kx250 with the effort they've put into the 4 strokes over the last 5 years or so. Think how an 09 CR250 would go if the same effort was put in. Better than a 4 stroke I reckon! I must admit that my mates 08 WR450 and a 08 450 Husaburg I ride now and then seem like armchairs compared to my 2T.

There are a few places that get them direct from the US or other manufacturer's. Makes it heaps cheaper. I managed to get a full graphics kit and seat cover for my KX125 off ebay for NZ$150 to my door (i.e. including postage). The same set would have cost me $270 here from the local suppliers.
