Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I tell you what, Slofox: I bet that if you go and get the new tyres fitted (that's an extremely good price, BTW!) you'll be saying, "Huh... these tyres are SO much better than the old ones. Didn't realise my handling had deteriorated that much. Can't believe I debated buying them..."
Remember: it's not just the amount or tread left - it's the condition of the rubber (whether it still softens up and provides good grip), AND the profile.
Your back tyre sounds like it's kaput, tread left or not. 14,000 km is good mileage.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
All booked for Monday.....now to try and avoid binning this weekend......

14,000 is great, $465 for a pair of PR2's fitted is Excellent.
Smoke the old one and get into the PR2's
I paid $520 fitted last year for a pair in CHCH and that was discounted!
Bastards in the North Island always appear to be getting better offers on tyres! Must be the greater competition - there is only two dedicated tyre suppliers in Christchurch.
A chap I know just fitted a pair of Avon Storms in CHCH - $600 plus fitting.....
