Haven't read the in between posts, but.

Imagine what would've happened had you not missed him.
This is attempted murder (Albeit loosely, but you understand my point).
It doesn't matter if someone sees it as harsh, this kinda of shit will just not stand. I would fight this fucker to the grave, if another runner didn't push me in first.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

Good luck with court and all. Sounds like he might try a few things to get out of it...

Relieved to hear you are ok - quick thinking and action got the results - good on ya.

Nope. I'm saying that had he fronted like a man and paid for the damage to the bike (instead of me having to use our insurance)...I may well have left out the "doing a runner from the scene of the accident" bit. But now I've filled that bit out in capital letters on the complaint sheet.

The witness is only too happy to repeat that bit too.

And thanks all for your kind wishes...didn't even loose any skin...all good!

    Cheers!!!

God knows mate...far too long ago now to even remember. Probably 79-83ish.

Used to ride my RM400 to school on the odd occaison. That is till I did a race start on the cricket pitch while they were practising, as I thought the 1st 11 cricket boys were homos...was best left at home after that.

one thing youll learn on kb is every stupid thing you say is recorded and will be brought back up to haunt you. Dont say sorry for saying beat up the cager, if it is your opinion stick to it, the others dont have to like it though and like them I will have to agree that violence is not the solution. Though beating english into him one letter at a time would have been nice, revenge does not equal justice in this case. The police are involved, witnesses are at hand and I applaud crasher for his cool headed thinking in this situation.

So, there was 20 feet between you and him when he pulled out? That is like 6 or so metres, right? And you're a rider of above average skill. and you were cruising back to work in a 50kph limit, right? so going around 50 to not more than 60kph, right?

How come you couldn't stop in 2m? According to some you could have stopped in one third of the distance available, not need to get anyone (Pleece, Mr ESOL, witness involved).

    Or am i missing something?
