Well....Devil and I have almost finished trolling through old photos looking for pics of jewellery, and drawing those I didn't have pics of.

Note for you all, take photos of all your jewellery etc, so you dont have to waste time drawing / trolling through pics for any insurance claims.

Am planning to get the claim off to insurance company this weekend, so hopefully they'll have enough time to process it (and gives us $$ / replacement) in time for christmas.....otherwise we might just have to cancel Christmas through lack of interest / motivation/ Christmas Spirit.

Yeah, it stinks when it happens. You can only carry on and try make it more secure. The window stops etc are good visual aids to dissuade them.

So, one week after getting paid out by AA (who were good to deal with i might add). Someone has broken in again.

Shit dude, just saw this thread. Cunts! Cunts! Hitting the same place again to pick up the insurance proceeds is unfortunately very common. Fuck all the Police can do to stop the burglars - it's the fences and teh receivers they need to target.

After we got burgled last year I put some extra locks on the windows etc, but if the scum want to break in then they will.

So I installed a free software pgm that converts my webcam into a motion detector and emails screen shots in real time to a bulk Yahoo email account.

mm...this time the fuckers broke one of the panes in the sliding door. Not too sure whether they actually managed to get in however. That door had pool cue (which had been moved), and deadbolt. Nothing found missing so far :/ Just waiting on glazier to arrive and fix the whopping great hole in the window.
