Met up with Xan and did the HW50/Patanagata loop yesterday. Met Dave/Morepower at the pub. Quite a few bikes on the road.
Watch for the gold Toyota Aurion mufti bacon. Was parked on the side of the road. Flicked his radar on when I was within 100 metres of him and over 130. Must of not got a good reading as plenty of cars coming towards us too.
Lucky escape, but he still followed us for a bit, then turned around.

Guys an idea, why dont we post our mobile numbers here so all who want can add them, so when anyone wants to ride we can all contact each other.
Beats trying to send a message thru here if no one is online to see.

GMcC, would of got in touch for yesterday but not possible to do online as it was short notice for the ride, and not knowing your number etc.

Kinda a ride list for those interested.

Hey ya Dooly .. I created a phone list for the manawatu rider a while ago & also had phone numbers of other kbers from around the country (if your travelling & run into issues - could contact someone)

Some ppl who were happy to be contacted if in need but wanted their numbers to be kept private .. so a master list was created & held by three ppl .. has come in useful several times so far .. even when I was on holiday I was contacted by a kber who had broken down .. could contact someone who actually happened to be in the pub several hundred yards away & went & had a look ...

tis a good idea .. but dunno about having everyone number on internet .. you might get some dodgy ppl having it :devil2 ..... ohh yeah I already have yours

Yeah, guess if folk are happy to put numbers up all good, as its hard to get in touch with some who may not login for a day or so.

Me, I like talking to dodgy folk.....

If you put your phone no/s in your Contact Details (under User CP) then anyone on your Friends list can see it.

I created a KB list for you lot when I was there. Think Wasp27 may have it now but if someone else wants to have it I still have a copy. However, as Chanceyy says some of the people wanted their numbers kept private. So should you want someone's number you get hold of the administrator of the list, and they will contact that person and pass on your number etc.

However, the Administrator needs to be someone that is contactable at all times really.
