Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
First on or just first to post since getting back....
handful of photos to come.
Been home for about an hour, showered unpacked and ready to pick up the dog's and cat soon.
Got stop by two booze buses on the way and one on the way back and just missed another as it was on the move.
All tho we were not speeding to much
I'm real glad I had a radar detector.
F it was hot riding home and seen the silliest thing ever.
A f-ing bus that could only do 100 kph trying to over take, wait for it.
A car towing a boat, a car towing a trailer, an ute towing a trailer and two other cars.
I dropped back and waiting for a crash as he would not give up and once had to pull back in the the same place he was.
And then just stayed on the wrong side of the road for so long you would not belive me.
Put it this way you could not see the end of the straight and the cars etc had to let him in.
And he did this three times.
A more than a few *555 calls were made as when we gassed up one of the towing cars talked to SDU about it.
I went passed him giving him the LOSSER sign and after that he did it twice more, what a dick.
On a happier note.
Great weekend and great to meet up with old friends and meet new ones.
May write more later, as I must go now.
Feel the fear and do it anyway
Don't confuse education with intelligence.
There are alot of highly educated idiots out there.

had a great time, saw a few kbrs had a good ride home, herad a rumour that vtr 250s can do 160 ks
Acting on information received, I proceeded in an orderly manner following several unsuspecting motorcyclists to a hitherto unknown spot in the Central South Island. As a result, in my professional opinion a major criminal group has been uncovered. They appear to collect under the asupices of the Vincent County Motorcycle Club (hereinafter VCMC) and are made up of various splinter groups.
In my undercover guise I approached the entrance to the encampment where I was confronted and extorted to the sum of $30 (see Schedule I - Expenses). It appears that this entitled me to a secret token called a "badge". Quite what it's function is I am unsure. I licked it and could not detect any pharmaceutical taste but later experienced severe diarrhoea. I recommend careful lab testing as there may be a biological agent involved.
Finding myself surrounded by unpredictable bikers whom I would have to infiltrate, I fell back upon my training. Those guest lectures on "Charisma and Bon Homie" delivered by PM Helen Clark at Police College proved invaluable although I did detect the occasional frown which I put down to low intellect.
The size of the VCMC, about 2000, is unhearlded in my experience and I was forced to concentrate on a smaller group based in one corner of he camp. They called themselves KB (hereinafter KB).
Part 2 of this report will examine information gathered about KB members.
KB is a disparate group, the members claiming to live in different areas of NZ. Yet they are clearly in touch and know each other so this group may a comprise discreet cell which is the communication arm of the VCMC criminal enterprise.
I will now describe some of the individuals whom I observed and interviewed. It should be noted that they cunningly use cover-names.
Mr Sensible - clearly this is an ironic name as this person, according to his peers, indulges in behaviour which could not in any way be described as sensible. He disappeared in the early evening and may have been setting up a deal.
Scumdog - like Mr Sensible, an outwardly benign character but was overheard to be involved with "the law". It is likely that he is the Enforcer of the VCMC laws and thus requires careful asessment.
His companion, an attractive female, proved to be delusional and claimed to be channelling Marilyn Munro. I withheld pointing out the problem posed by her natural hair colour.
One fiesty individual, when asked his name challenged me with the curse "Farkqu...." or some such utterance. He appeared to think his machine gave him some superiority over the others, who acquiesed marking him as a person of power within the group.
Lemons/LMans - or some derivation on that (most of the KB group spoke quickly and were obviously under the influence of some intoxicant), is a seemingly innocent male who claims to own a tiger. More delusional perceptions, a common trait among KB.
SDU is a young energetic female who appears to be held in thrall by Lemons. She was observed preparing a meal for him and doing his bidding despite posessing a superior machine.
Clairsky - allegedly lives on a farm and thus may be the agricultural advisor for the VCMC. She denied participating in a wet-tshirt competition but surely did so out of embarrasment. It is clear that the women of KB are playthings for the males and do their bidding.
More individuals to follow.
We turned back between Kyeburn and Hyde! Just too windy and I suspected that Lee Stream & Rocklands on the high side of Middlemarch would be extremely dangerous. Piccy's of Clyde dam follow.
Went home via pigroot, was hanging round a left hander when a gust of wind straightened me up instantly and i ended up on the white line with my elbow rubbing the side of an oncoming cattle truck damn near needed clean undies after that one, rode like a nana for a wee while after that till the heart rate got back to normal. but what an awesome rally to start my rally career with. gunna treasure that first badge. good to meet you all, went looking for you all on sat night but got distracted by the wet tee's, will catch up again next time.![]()
S'all Good!!
Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing.
Sometimes I think I understand the meaning of life.....
