    Needs a decent carbie too.
    It's getting bored out too...150cc 2stroke,pod filter
Oi - no more than 125 so it is eligible for the DB1k small bore

    Havlocking around...

The intrepid adventurers ready to intrep away...

The ford below Magic/Balrog's bridge was a bit dry...

Lunch at Pelorus in the shade...

    Lets go!

Ummm... I'll just wait down here and make sure no-one nicks any stones untill you get back OK?

It really is farking steep and rutted and rocky...

    Warewolf on the way...

Last time Shane went up it was "just a clay surface".

    Woody coming down...

Slip Inn for more coffee and then repairs time...

Bottom out suspension. Bottom clamp pushes guard onto tyre. Tyre rips guard forward and off...

That's the pylon track up there...

And remove the guard this time...

My baby survived in one piece.
Warewolf broke his front guard and Woody did a blinker/mirror/radiator/bashplate.
Good thing no-one actually fell of then isn't it.

Don't worry I wont take the 125 sticker off, and the rego still says 125cc

Any way, I've still got other options

I think the FatBars will make it ineligible even if they are off a mini bike

    Well.....

Went to the Old thumpers racing at Pohara but they were having lunch and it was way too hot to be standing around.
For those who are interested there was a track and some people and some old bikes which I guess were supposed to be racing.

    Soooooo

Went up to Birds Clearing instead.Nice little track with a great view from the top.

Pic #1 Getting there over Takaka hill
Pic #2 Down near the bottom of the track
Pic #3 Port Tarakohe in the distance
Pic #4 Some of the locals
    Pic #5 Near the top
Pic #6 Still near the top

    More to come

I'm going down to Westport next weekend as Mrs Padmei is doing the buller so I thought I'd have a look at Big River. If anyone else wants to hook up & explore it would be cool to have some company.

Now... as my geographical skills aren't that crash hot are there any things I should be aware of??? I just turn off Greys rd & there it is - follow it until I cant anymore? I have had a look at cooneyr's site & lookd at crazyfrogs pics so seems ok to do solo if need be.
