As much as I would like to I feel it is not the best idea. Until it has gone to court.

Why do you need their address if the cops are onto it then?

Dude... Have you ever tried reporting a stolen vehicle? A stolen hatch was driven around Auckland city for 2 weeks with the same plates as it was reported stolen with, and it was never picked up, and the cops never went to the address of the guy who had stolen it until about a week passed. Would be a lot harder with a little dirtbike they can just hide in the shed never to be found.

Yes, they rung me the next morning to tell me where they'd found it. Idiots left the door open which killed the battery, but all good except for that

Also, I suspect given he knows who did it, that they'd have an easier time than usual, they're not total morons

So... your bike got stolen, the guy left his hat behind and the cops had it tested for DNA?!!

And you're worried that they're not taking this major crime seriously enough!??!

Well TBH, that makes you sound like an ungrateful rude cunt actually, given that they've gone to the trouble of getting DNA from evidence at the scene and all. But whatever... clearly they're making no effort to find it

    A) You don't know me - I was very grateful to the police when they rang me.
    B) I think you took that comment the wrong way.
    C) Cunt: is an English language vulgarism referring generally to the female genitalia...

    I think not.
