I had a "boy look" at the website and couldn't see answers to the following:
    - How many people usually turn up - racers as well as spectators
    - Is there a spectator fee? (not that I'm being stingy - just need to know whether I need cash in hand)
    - Are there viewing spots at designated parts of the "track" or are you anchored at the start / finish if a spectator
    - How long does it run for?

(PS: the 2 - 3 coke and bourbons on an empty stomach have diminished the already woeful "boy look" skills)

It runs all day, and you get ferried up and down the hill in a van. You can pick different vantage points. There is a small charge. Bring cash because there are sausages and drinks to buy.

More people than you would imagine turn up to watch and it gets bigger every year.

Try not to wander out on to the track drunk,.

About 45 racers on 'practice/fun day' Saturday, slightly less on Sunday.

Not a huge amount of spectators - apart from the start there are two main vantage points - a van was used last year but that sponsor has withdrawn this year - the organisers are trying to secure a van again. It was $5 ferrying for the day if you were unlucky enough to get charged.

Offers of a van and driver will be greatfully accepted.

Okey Dokey, me and Vick have had a bit of a pow wow this evening, I was sober so I remember ...

Anyway, we are going to pay for someone to do both day's between us. I reckon that you really need a practice day to get a feel for the road, it can be a bit scary in places so it eases your mind.

Also, we have only had one chick interested so far and she isnt too sure about it yet. Basically this means that we will consider you blokes. We will consider chicks first though, sorry. The rules are as follows:

    • You have to be a novice rider/racer
    • You must not have or have had any sponsorship over the past year
    • If you want to ride my FXR you will have to have your FULL road licence or 1 whole season on a race track. (Sorry but its my commuter and bucket racer so its valuable to me!)
