    Good decision

I think you've made a wise decision Dellorto. For your first bike I think you'd be better off with a 4 stroke. $800 should buy you a good bike.

If you're lucky you might find a CB125 T. But even a Honda 125 single would be a good start for the Auckland 'B' Grade.

Best advice. Talk to John Conner. He's always got or knows of bike's for sale. He might even help you build one. If you get a John Conner bike, It won't be pretty but it will be competitive.

    Good Luck

There is a RX125 bucket on Trade Me at the mo.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

    Granma here.

It's my old first bike. It's a Suzuki GS 125cc with a race cam in it. We used to call it the 'Banana', cause it was painted all yellow. It aint the fastest bike around but boy is it reliable.

It got a good thrashing by a few of the boys at buckets and some newbies had a go on it. L Plates Flyer managed to fall off it several times, and the old girl just keeps on going.

If you can, find a 17" front wheel to put in it, it will be even better. Does it still have the 17" on the back with a good slick?
