Alone
With a wingman (maybe two)
In a "f*ck off" posse of dozens or more
I like to ride in pretty much any situation. Lone, with the missus on her bike, with a few or dozens, it makes no odds. Just ride. Although I must say, riding in a mob does make you think more. Not a bad thing.
Yep, alone.
Some people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them.
Alone or in a very small group of known riders. We have a system to look after each other without holding each other up or racing.
Works wel.
Large groups...I did a few, but just too dodgey for me!

"Rhino Bucket - Ride With Yourself
Queen of denial, sex plain Jane
I'm a little bit crazy, but you're insane
Two lane highway, take the middle lane
Forever in hurry, always being late
Walk like a lady, talking like a man
You say that you're a princess, but they call you a madame
Take a long, long ride with yourself
Do you like the company
Take a long, long ride with yourself
Do you like what you see
Teasin' old men, pleasin' little boys
You say that you're discrete
But you're makin' too much noise
Run up a tab, pullin' down your top
You say it's time to party
But you don't know when to stop
Take a long, long ride with yourself
Do you like the company
Take a long, long ride with yourself
Do you like what you see
Take a long, long ride with yourself
Take a long, long ride
Take a long, long ride
Solo
Take a long, long ride with yourself
Do you like the company
Take a long, long ride with yourself
Do you like what you see
Take a long, long ride with yourself
Take a long, long ride
Take a long, long ride
Take a long, long ride (ride with yourself)
Take a long, long ride (ride with yourself)
Do you like what you see (ride with yourself)
Take a long ride (ride with yourself)
Take a long, long ride (ride with yourself)
Let's see how you ride (ride with yourself)
Take a long ride (ride with yourself)
Well you can ride on this (ride with yourself
I don't really mind either way as each has it's advantages and disadvantages.Really depends on what mood I'm in. Riding alone means being able to do your own thing when and how you want.Riding in a group means meeting new people and possibly making new friends.
Having ridden with large groups and with one or two other riders, and alone, I have decided that I enjoy riding alone the most.
For some reason, I feel stressed while riding in groups. Even riding with one other rider isn't as much fun as riding by myself!

A lot of folks here only seem to ride with trusted buddies........I'm just wondering how it was yo'all knew they could be trusted, or how they came to be trusted??
Gimme a break people, bikes are like magnets! If you're out riding alone, you all wave at the oncoming bikes and if you pass or are passed by another rider heading in the same direction, how many of you latch on for a bit.
Personally, I just like riding. Be it alone, with one or two mates, club rides, charity rides, commutes to town, short fangs to a latte, moderate pootles to a big-breakfast or all day and night with the Rustys. I like it at the front of a group or I am equally content as TEC, or anywhere in the middle. One can normally tell if those around aren't used to group riding and I'll give them a bit of space (for my benefit), and the same goes for those I don't know, but I also have a few riding buddies who are happy for me to fill their mirrors and vice versa.
If you haven't guessed already, I haven't voted as there's no option for "All of the Above".

If you are behind me
Dont ask as I am lost too.
I do most of my riding solo but do enjoy riding with small groups. What I don't like about riding with others is that you feel that you have to keep up with the group (which might be going a little bit faster that the posted speed limits!) and I don't like riding in close formation (staggered) with unexperienced or unpredicatable riders. What I don't like about riding solo is not having a mate to share the experience with, and easy targets for traffic police - no witnesses to back you up when you claim you weren't speeding![]()
