Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

Your pullin me tit surely !!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Hey, if they are going to revive It's in the Bag, why not Miss Universe? Harmless fun as far as I'm concerned.

The current Miss Horowhenua is a stunning girl, I know her mother well and the family is well respected locally. I think her sister won Miss Manawatu a few years ago so beauty runs in the family. If it brings money into the local economy then I don't think many here will have a problem with it.

Horowhenua was also the home to last year's Miss Universe New Zealand winner, Samantha Powell of Paraparaumu.
since when was paraparaumu in horowhenua?

That's one thing that needs sorting out - you don't have to actually live there, just enter the competition there. I think it should only be open to those who currently live there. And if there is no support for a competition in a particular area, apparently if you front up with $3000 (and are a bit pretty, etc) then you can 'win' your region's contest. Not sure what happens if more than one person stumps up with the cash!

At least Levin did hold a competition last year and it was won by a local.
