About 7 or 8 of us from the Burger Fuel place.
Good to meet new folk, hopefully they'll join our crew.

One of the best rides to Wairoa for me, no traffic, had the road to myself, got in the groove, was all good.

Way back was a different story, lots of traffic, bacon galore, cunning one flicked his radar on me as I exited a corner rather fast. Fortunately I saw him and backed off quick before the lock got me, ear piece going nuts.
He looked pissed off as he went past as I had dropped to 95 by the time he got me.

Good weekend for riding, 2 in a row now.
I know we need rain, but this weather is just so bike ridey!!!
    Yeah - what he said !!! :

Hiya Steve, how was Paeroa, all home safe & sound?

That Waipatiki road was a bit tricky, first time on it for me and I led the way.
Bit like blind leading the blind!

Just got home from a great day out. The racing was stunning and the eye candy was unbelievable. Ouch…. Moooooo just hit me. Aye Dale could you post the pic of the Playboy girls? Mooo wants to check out the competition.

Was a 9/10 day. Only spoilt by the interview one of our bikes had with the tax man. Not for me to say who or how much but I can say it wasn’t Alvin or myself cos we don’t speed. As it would appear.

The racing was stunning and so bloody fast. Well done to everyone that competes at this level.

As long as you take plenty of water, sunscreen and a umbrella you feel fresh and ready to ride. I saw some people so sun burnt they will be sick for days. Thanks for the stand plate you made me after last year W. Was fantastic. So many people had to look for bits of wood and I saw dozens of gloves under side stands to stop them digging in to the ground.

Our ride up was dry but most of the roads were wet. Our trip home was premo. We stopped for dinner in Taupo and meet up with Rob, Cindy and Dave. Picked up another 4 bikes as we left Taupo and had a safe ride home.

Time for sleep but that was a great day. Hope everyone got home safe. Thinking of you DR girl. Heal fast.

Still didn’t catch you at the track Tart. Did see plenty of others but you must have been avoiding me…….. again…………. Did see Chicky in the pits. Hope she got the hat? When I saw her she was waging a campaign to out do the playboy girls. How did it go Chicky ?

Time for sleep. Make plans and book a trip to Paeroa next year. It really is a great track and place to visit.

Yep See above. This is not the best road to ride. Lots of goats and nutters on this road. I don't take the road bike to the beach. Scary stuff

Did'nt see goats, but a few cars, and some very potentially nasty bends and camber, with the added bonus of shingle.

Yep Paeroa is something special i reckon. This is completely different to Wanganui race day. Not sure if its the great weather. The fast racing. The eye candy.
Good to see some of the HB crew in Taupo on the way home.
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Not very well. I fell over a chain linked fence (got the chain caught between my sandal and my toes) and now all battered and bruised They don't recruit ladies that can't fall graciously. Tart, thanks for the first aid. I tell ya my leg was bloody sore by the time I got home though. Didn't manage to walk around too much due to that so wasn't able to catch up with the rest of you which was a bugger. Only I could be so clumsy. However, the day was absolutely awesome once again!!

Sounds like it was a good day for you guys, not so good for some comeing back last night, BMW rider killed and some others injured after hitting oil on the Plains somewhare, aparently a 4ltr oil container was found on the road so either some one drop it by mistake or it was a diliberate. Condolenses to the family of the rider that was killed.

You are welcome Sticky! It was great to sit and catch up!

    DR girl..heal up mate!

Racing was awesome, and the weather was fine...I even got a touch of sunburn!! Had an eventful trip home...Paeroa must think that if you come to racing you MUST be from Auckland..they kept lots of the roads closed and directed us to the Auckland road..in the end (after about half an hour) we just drove thru the barriers!

Got caught on the Taupo Rd, again for about half an hour, due to an accident. Three bikes lost it in a diesel/oil slick. Bits of bikes spread all over the place. Oil on both lanes
Didn't look good for the riders..I hope they are going to be alright.

Edit: Just learned that one of the riders has died.
    RIP

Very nasty about the oil and riders.
Makes you think how vulnerable you are.
And you dont have to be speeding or acting the fool to crash and die.........
