Should add my bit.
On my pay sheet I'm a Compliance Technician,but in reality I fix Japanese (mainly) Import cars once they've been through the compliance process.
Shame,as I hate working on my bike though.

hi whats the sticky green/ brown stuff that sometimes ya find on jap cars when there imported. is it to protect them from the salt air while in transit.

some times its in the engine bay. we had a import with it on it.

Im on the benefit but I hope to pop out a few kids over the next few years and get a pay rise...

I know what you mean.
It can be a sign the car has had a hit and they've used cavity wax to seal the area off from rusting,looks kinda like dark ear wax.
If you see that stuff,it pays to look a bit closer to see why it's there.It's strange they never throw some paint over it as it stands out like dogs balls on a light coloured car.

There's a good chance you're walking around on my handy work. Dyehouse Manager. My team dyes the wool that goes into Feltex carpet. We process quite a reasonable portion of NZ's yearly wool clip.

Oh, and Bart isn't my real name. I just had some similarities to a certain cartoon character when I was younger. (I real little shit).
