No screaming, but plenty of smiles
HUGE thanks to Chanceyy and Monamie for getting me back on the horse. I was slightly dubious but once the jacket went on and we were moving it felt GREAT! My jacket held everything in place and for the first time in nearly two weeks - no pain! The warm wind on my hand felt soooo healing and even now feels like progress has been made.
Big boost emotionally too, as the confidence took a spill along with the bike.
Good to meet Mr and Mrs Hitcher too. Love the Shiver
Real good nite![]()
It's only Rock and Roll but I like it
You're well braver than me - I hate being pillion!(And I'm the world's worst pillion too). Good to see you out and about. Great ride too - particularly enjoyed Eketahuna - Pahiatua

Your previous choice of steed was really comfy, helped by the packrack every now and again. Used to pillion a fair bit 25 years ago and tonight felt rock solid with a very competent driver in charge![]()

Yeah, I used to pillion a bit around 25 years ago - they wouldn't give me a licence!
One happy Scorpio owner heads off with the taillight functioning.Few of us did the backroad to Pahiatua and Hopelands. Certainy a damn fine evening for it. Good turn out up to Eketawerarewe. The cake was yum.
Awesome turnout tonight, 20 odd bikes started out at Ashhurst, headed Ballance, Mangamaire, Eketahuna for cake. Dogs pillon was still smiling from ear to ear (this could be the start of a new rider)
We split into 3 groups, some heading back main road, some heading via back roads, and 5 of us (Dogs, CJ, Sarge, PaulC, and me) heading off to Masterton to deliver my daughter, stopped in to McD's for a bite to eat, then headed to destination.
Nice night ride home via the main roads.
One happy daughter (who kept wanting Dogs to go faster) deliver safely to Masterton.
And finally back on bike after a couple of weeks of not riding due to busy life.
Was also great to see Al out enjoying himself.........glad to see your recovery has you still smiling.
If you can't be good, be good at it
Live is too short, live it to the fullest
That was mint.
