I might go for a ride on my grandkids pushbike and have a look if it's not raining!

Hardly worth starting the Tiger! John.

Well I didn't camp anywhere near that area last year, but I think I know where you mean!? But there were quite a few stock/hay sheds I recall, so not 100% sure exactly!

So......if I veer left after the Gate entry tent then travel along the Hedge line maybe about halfway down to the corner, about where the "pointy" end of the track/oval is..... would that be about it or..too far? not far enough?

it was quite literally just inside the gate to the left, hay bales under a longish tin roofed shed, maybe about 20 metres from the gate. Nice spot last year cos the rain was a bit annoying and we could spot the talent as it came in, or in some cases as they fell off in front of us!

have fun at the rally people! And will catch the saturday mob at the Rolly BP

Nah, I think she's referring to the constant forward lean caused by her "assets"

I'll be leaving home around 1100 tomorrow and heading down via Sheffield, Rakaia Gorge, Geraldine, Fairlie, Cave.

I might have to come over and say hi to you peoples, our travelling companions have bailed due to work so it's just me and the wife. Heading down saturday whatever time we get organised and ditch the kids, plan to be set up in time for dinner and the entertainment.

What time you planning of traveling?
Dangerous is leaving the BP at Rolleston for Rakia at 9.am with a mob,
I will be waiting at the Challenge at Rakia for them from 9.30
we will then be taking the inland route from there.

You could join that Mob if you wanted,
and anyone else that did not see D's post

not that he has replyed to confirm that yet,
    but A good plan!
