We will keep that little story to ourselves eh?...
Mid 30's???....wow they will let anyone into those places now?
I will get onto that...rainman suggested swallowing a camera and though my digital is small, I feel it would hurt worse going down than Reflux!
Just three mins a day.
Ah yes, stamina plus! as long as its not 3-4 am eh?
More??.... perhaps I should take it via the rectum?? I gag with the amount I swallow as it is...![]()
Yeah man, this thing

It is awesome when it is ice cold and the bottle is covered in frost.

Try out caiprinhas and mojitos. Use a decent rum for either of them - traditionally it's cachaça and white rum, but using a good rum just makes them even better. Very good for hangovers and you can make them just as strong or weak as you want - so you can get more or less than 5 hours out of your rum if you choose.
Swallow the camera is a very very nasty game which I never want to try my hands at again, if I can help it. I haven't tried anything before or since that was more uncomfortable than that - more painful for sure, but not more uncomfortable.
I find that running and staying somewhat fit helps to keep the hernia in check. I still drink what I want, eat hot curries and drink all the coffee I care for - no worries these days.

Nah, amateur. You make a jug of the stuff, and keep it in the fridge to keep topping up your glass.
Hey, I was a poor student, I needed the money. I did some things I'm not proud of...... Shit, I mean It's a figure of speech.
Saved it again, Mully.
Mmmmm. Mojitos V Good. But must be taken lazing on the beach. A hot beach. Like in Thailand. Never heard of a caipiriwhatsit, or the main ingredient, for that matter. Note to self: Must get out more.
Really? Ketamines meant I didn't feel or remember a thing...
Yeah fitness helps with all sorts of stuff, as does a general low-stress lifestyle. (I knew there was something I was doing wrong...) But with drugs I can drink what I want, and spicy food is no problem.
What absolutely kills my stomach, Losec or no Losec? Custard slices. Not the filling - the pastry and icing. And I'm wondering about coffee, too.
Redefining slow since 2006...
The caipirinhas are just made with a Brazilian low-quality rum-like spirit. A bit to rum what mescal is to tequila. Rum is superior - but more expensive.
And both are fine on a sunny NZ day!
In that case you were spared the experience of what felt like an hour of convulsions while doing all you can to try and relax and not punch the doctor and tearing the fucking thing out by yourself. It was not nice. Similar feeling to dry retching continuously for perhaps 5 minutes. I was lying on my side, and during the procedure saliva production goes nuts - nice to get on your bicycle and pedal 5 kms home in late autumn in Denmark with a spit-soaked t-shirt... not.Originally Posted by rainman

Yeah, when I had camera down my throat... It reminded me of when, as a kid,I held the dog down whilst the vet cut his stitches out. I miss the dog.
Honestly the endoscope through the femoral vein was less traumatic than the hoover hose down the throat. Take all the drugs you can get.
As for drinks! Discovered a cocktail bar in Onehunga at weekend. $30 gave us 2 drinks. Late at night seemed worth it. Very good drinks. Later in week, still seems worthwhile. Was a very good night out. Brambles in Onehunga. Cheesy 80's music and a bartender that seemed a wee bit autistic/intense on making drinks!!
What has this to do with acid reflux. Well not sure, had a few drinks. Maybe time for bed
I need to learn all these terms so I can bitch more efficiently.
