    Track fairings?

I'm looking at picking up a cheap bike as a Track Conversion, and have found one that I like, and will do the job well, but it lacks fairings at the moment.

How easy is it to find them or get track fairings made? Is it as expensive as I think it is?

    It's a 1989 H1 ZXR750. and a quick Google doesn't really show up anything.

    Rare as rocking horse shit
Just fairings didn't have much a couple of years ago only going back as far as J series fairings which do fit but are butt ugly in the front mounts having to totally mod the brackets etc

Maier did fairings but yet again H series are getting to old & are mostly discontinued now

Got a complete fibreglass fairing assembly spare in the shed here though

It's fibreglass dude, anything can be made to fit. It's probably easier for you to use modern ZX-6/10 fairings than trying/waiting to find some ZXR750 ones.

Heck if you're desperate I know of a set of GSXR600/750 fairings that can be made to work and won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Yo Nick, ifa ia cana doita anyonea cana !
    The new triumpixa fairing lol
Filling the headlight was easy, i just wrapped gladwrap round the front laid in the glass then more glad over that, support it level and lay a couple bags of rice on inside to curve it ! Bugger all bog needed to fill any gaps at the end of it all !
Better than a gay number board on the front and hell may even knock a second off me times !

The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Haha. That's awesome. Don't know what the Missus would say if she caught me with it on the Dining Table though.

Just dont shower before bed, after doing the glassing and grinding/sanding it mate, the table will be the least of her worries !

Got dragged along to meet the fockers a few weeks back (Her folks live in oz but were over and we went to a very well to do luncheon that was held for em) and i got a, It better not be or I Weel kill you, from the mum in law when i mentioned the lack of room in our dining room, due to bikes and parts strewn everywhere ! Our whereabouts is a well kept secret ! My attitude is, I'd love to see her face just for shits and giggles, Heidi's is, we'll keep our address secret from them !

I'd have those GSXR fairings if GUBB doesn't want them please.

It'll be a while before I settle on anything at the moment, i've only just started looking for a bike, and needed to take these kinda expenses into account so I can decide how much it's worth.

For a track bike fairings aint worth shite ! Couple of crash bungs to stop ya destroying valuable/operational parts of the bike if the unthinkable happens(who carrys a spare radiator) And cheap cheap cheap so ya fang it/prang it yeeehaaa, then go right, i need to remortgage the house and buy me a race bike ! Just the basics mate bearings brakes chain and reliable ! so ya pass scruitineering !
Hell trailer that and your streety down so if it shits itself at all, ya just hop on that to finish the day off, haha no dissapointments !
