Hey man, i fell badly at training - my fault... squished the AC joint and its fairly badly inflamed. Pain aint that bad but its enough to upset my concentration and make me real jumpy through left handers swerving while dropping into a corner isn't fun i think it might be alright for the sunday ride but can't guarantee anything yet.

Sounds like a bloody nice ride

yep, looks good for the cricket today. In case no one knows India vs NZ in Hams One dayer/nighter today. Sorry won't be at pub as will be at cricket Looks like a big group from Auck doing the loop Sunday (32 registered) so if anyone wants/needs to get the loop out of the system you can meet them at Paeroa about 9.30-9.45am its up on the calendar. As for me, looks like I will be only riding if its a cruisey one on Sunday (maybe Auckland the go!), as my rear brakes have this horrible grinding noise as they go on. Probably not good when the wof's due next week!. So back to the shop next week for the bike. 36 registered now!!

cheers all, have a good night!!

Hopefully we don't get stomped again

Probly just brake pads dude, it would take about $40 and an hour tops to swap them out

Wicked, glad you're doing well down there, funny thing about hot chicks and study is it makes you go to class but doesn't help the concentration hehe

Yeah thats what I think but my reasoning for letting the shop do it is if you take your bike for a wof and give them a little job to do they are not so picky in looking for other faults. Always seems to work in the past!!

Dunno man, i would rather they pulled me up on things and i knew the bike was good better to part with $$ than part with body parts or bike.

What do you use rear brakes for? Most of the stopping power comes from the front (more so if the back if off the ground or only just touching...)

Yes I could see how that could be a problem only problem is one cant afford to not pay attention in class. The geog lecturer is fairly speedy, a fair amount of stuff to get covered in 50 minutes.

Its a tourer dude, the braking dynamic is more even than the sporties

Yeah you are probably right, just hate arguing with wof guys. Last wof for Trina's car said the front light was 2cm's to low, the door handle was loose, 2 tires wouldn't be warrantable in 6 months so fail. jeese she only does 4000 kms a year in it!! However Boyds have been good and only failed me last time for some cracks in the tire (plenty of tread though). suppose better to be safe than sorry.
