Speaking of the new R1, the latest Motorcycle Trader is RAVING about it. It has a 270-180-90-180 firing order which "achieves a strong pulse at low to mid rpm, together with excellent linearity across the whole rpm range. I understand why you have that image but it's far from the truth mate, they are a nice bike to ride for sure and much more adept at carving corners than you'd think they have any right to, certainly need to re-calibrate the way you ride on them until you're used to them though, mainly to do with corner entrance and braking I found, there is no getting away from the fact that they are heavy bike but once you get your head around that it's all good.You and Meanie certainly get along all right, but when I think of a Connie as a sports bike, I get this image of an axe slicing a tomato?
