GSX1400 oil change

Anything magic I should know before I do this myself?
Around 15000km.
Anything I should check/replace/tighten/loosen while I'm about it?

Well you have the check/replace/tighten/loosen a bit confused IMHO.
First you should CHECK the engine is warmed up properly then you should LOOSEN the oil drain plug and filter and remove/drain TIGHTEN all that was LOOSENED and REPLACE with fresh oil and filter.
Done in this order you should be rightsorry taking the piss

Just check you have the correct replacement filter... and the reccomended replacement oil grade/type...

You'll need 4.8lts of oil keeping in mind the change of filter as well.
Im using Elf Moto 4 HP 10w40.
