Great report on the whole event and really sums it all up
That miss you had sounded pretty bad alright up out of cliffhanger corner so you were doing really well to deal with it.

You have balls alright. Two sets if you count Sully's. Hell I didn't even know you were physically sick, you were buzzing so much. Isn't it awesome!!!
Love the write up too. Perfectly described the way the event unfolds.

Here's hoping! Hell a year is too long to wait. Now that I know where that road is I could visit...perfect length for me for a day rap....might even get a Friday ride in before the weather turns to shite.

Well there was that AND my overbraking for the cliffhanger corner! perhaps if I wasn't slowing down so much the drag on the way up that next straight might've been a little faster

OMG YES - I think I am enjoying it even more in the look back - at the time you are kinda on this mission and in a zone and you just go through the motions of preparing for the next run etc etc you kind of miss the day a little... Bring on 2010

    Hey Stirts....Proud of You!!

Thanks every one - woo what a blast I am still trying to come down actually.

I found driving the van home last night total trial. I kept looking at the wrong side of the road as my 'line' and had real trouble driving to the lmit - even despite the obvious pain the poor Homy was feeling!

Also still not back into commuter mode properly. I was in my 'going home from work zone' and thought I was just cruizing but crikey dick I was hauling apparently... Thank you to the nice man in the very nice red car that gave me the fright/reminder and sent me on my way. :

It's as if I have lost perspective of speed and my brain and bod and bike just want to go at an average of 122.68kph everywhere...

DAMN YOU CLIFFHANGER!!! I JUST WANT THAT ONE LAST RUN

I think I just came crashing back down to my normal riding reality with a bit thump and a huge OMG Phew.
