They don't need to be SUPER fast - they have radio waves that can extend out from them in all directions at approximately the speed of light.
So.... in most circumstances, out-running them is fraught with difficulty, especially since most cops are just tooling around in the cars just itching for an opportunity to put the pedal to the metal...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    That's the one.

Actually, does us posting on this thread make us accessories to the crime when he tries to outrum the fuzz?

I was chasing a S1 RX7 one night, a long time ago, on my 1990ish gsxr250. I was flat out and had been for some time, laying on the tank, poor wee thing...it was indicating 180-185kmh. The RX7 was pulling away. A cop car came up beside me, the passenger waved his finger at me then the car, with 3 people in it, accelerated away briskly. No flashing lights or anything.... it could have been beside me for some time!! I'd say it would have got to 210-220 or so while in my view, seemed to me, at the time, to have alot of pace. After all this i closed the throttle and went home, thankful and unable to believe my luck! The next day i got a telling off from my boss, he was in the car as a volunteer or something and had recognised me and asked them to perhaps go after the car instead.

Been in front passenger seat of a highway patrol car from kaiakoura to picton, pissing wet the whole way, he was just crusing through the tight twisties.... slow movements of the wheel driving like ya granny, but we were doing 90kph around 35's in the pissing wet and it wasn't even trying to cut loose.

Try to outrun one? FUCK THAT.

He also let me use the radar the whole way and i learnt ALL about how to operate one...

But thats for me to know and you lot to wonder.

About as fast as a VT, VZ, WQ - whatever series of Holden Commodore it is... (I am not a Holden fan so I don't keep up with whatever model they are up to now)
Please help keep me in leather and on tarmac - it's good for my ego
