    Another thought

I hope Polly is able to pinpoint the cut-out issue. Bloody weird one that?

As for that planet launching....................... rear tyre on the gixxer. I never thought anything could be worse than facing cowboyz nut....................
Actually no, there is still nothing worse than cowboyz nut!

Still meet up at Ashurst as one group, with lots of people around, then say our hellos and goodbyes and go ride - and enjoy the riding.

Those that float between the groups can still do so, and this means all can still ride with thier friends without anyone being put under any undue duress as they can choose to go to the OTHER group. Should they be followed by circumstances that still cause duress, it will be pretty obvious to all present, and can be actioned or documented as required. No stress.

Honestly I have no probelms riding with either party and enjoy the company when on 2 wheels, but fail to see the necessity of having to ride with both at the same time. Its like chaining a dog up then beating and torturing it. The dog can't run away, it can't fight you either as your just out of reach. Hardly fair. Why do it at all. Unless you want to see the dog broken...

Its a simple plan that keeps everyone safe, avoids brain fade crashes and lets everyone avoid or enjoy watching me pull out on people thoughtlessly for one thing.
stink idea ... and yes i am way behind reading all this...

Well I've got to say that it was AWESOME to be back on a bike, and very nice that it was my old gold friend Daytona Took awhile to get the rythym going, and it will still be sometime off as I'm lacking a lot of power in my hand and shoulder now. The doc says it will be months before it's anywhere close to where it was. Oh well that's life.

Superb evening through those back roads and cool catch up and natter.

Nice run through the gorge ending at the Brewers Apprentice for a beer and another yak.

Nice to see a certain red Honda hoisting her headlight on occasion too
it was like you were never off..

yeah I guess, but it seems to have ended ok with all on 2 wheels. Was trying to avoid another distraction caused crash, even though I could use a wrecked Daytona for parts right now. Just haven't worked out how to part the rider from the bike without breaking both.

Well we had an awesome night out at an engagement party, but ended up talking bikes all night and arguing over which is better, the triumph or the quiet achiever Honda CBF250. No clear winner, with all the guys for the 675 and all the girls behind Maria for the CBF - no taste for speed and curves I guess. What can you expect from a party of Toyota workers.

Got up this morning and MAN AM I MISSING THE BIKE!!!! Look at the weather!!!!!! Paying the price for thinking I'm clever with electrics now!!!!

    You trying to be funny?

Honda size is irrelevant, as it will always be a Honda!

    Triumph

Honda vs Kawasaki..............Now there's a fair competition, but they don't have cups in the smile list that go down that far.

Sounds like a good night, with the girls all wrong for a change eh

Why would you want parts, you thinking of moving up to a real Daytona?

Not those bloody electrics again. When will you be back on the road? I'm looking forward to a ride with ya!

Be back on the road end of the week or week after.

Ignition lock, tank cap and mirror are FINALLY on the way from OZ now the spare keys have been located.

New battery should be sorted monday

New HID headlights should be sorted wednesday

New reg/rec should be here from the States no later than the week after.

Indeed! Hope that sorts it once and for all Sly, a Triumph shouldn't be giving you this much grief. This was caused by that clown who had it before right?

Yep it was, him and me in equal parts.

had he not had it stolen for an insurance job and done the bullshit damage to the wiring to look hot wired I wouldn't have been tempted to do temp repairs instead of real repairs causing this spate of shite
