Aye. Good turnout down at the pond. A few heavy drops started and a few bailed. Rest geared up and went up to the Paekak Hill Carpark. Then back to the Monteiths bar I believe. I got a call, so had to come straight back from the carpark. Only got wet coming over the hill at home. Not too much moisture...

Yep nice wee ride, well done to those who didnt bail out at the sight of a few raindrops. The PK hill was dry and I only got damp coming home from the pub.

I think it's already raining on the Takas.
The 7:20 is just a wild guess for low lying areas. Higher up will see rain sooner.
Well wherever you got the info from, it wasn't quite right. But it was a better prediction than we get from our normal weather channels.
Started raining just after 6, funnily enough it was dry at the top of the Paekakariki Hill. When we got back around the inlet the rain started again.
Ah well, it made for an interesting change and I had fun regardless.

I'm currently working on making a trip down that way and hope to sneak it in just prior to the end of daylight saving. Might try and join y'all.

If you could arrange some good weather that'd be especially nice.

Gee, what we do for outta-town-ers! Maybe Sels can have a chat to the good guys at the Metservice to see if they can oblige?? Or maybe Maki in your new role as weather forecaster can do the biz? Mind you, this is Wellington

The only thing I could see clearly was your license plate! Glad you were in front. Gotta say I'm in love with how the Duc handles even in the wet, it was only down to visiblilty that slowed me up.
