What a loser. Tosser, Whimp, Wanker.

Look on the bright side, Katman. ACC pays out for Wanker RSI.

But look on the bright side of being a complete wanker. At least you probably won't contract Prostate Cancer. Pity really.

Yeah, but fuck I did that one night, about six hundred metres North of the SH27/Coro intersection, where some new road had been laid,

It was pissing down like at a level Noah would have freaked at.

Came alongside a truck and trailer....its tyres adding to the maelstrome, and gunned it, just as I passed the long joiny bit between truck and trailer.

Back wheel hit something horrid. A tank-slapper started, and I'm staring left at the biggest fucking wheels in the world, just rolling along, waiting for me.

    Erg!

You know how tank-slappers go. It's like left/right/left, then poom!

To this day I don't know how I avoided being eaten by those wheels.

Scared the fuck out of me, getting that close up and dirty with rolling round things with some tonnes pressing down on the road-touching bit.

See, I come from a bit of a different perspective than you. Personally, I would never have placed myself in a position where I suddenly found myself, totally unsighted by torrential rain, coupled with the road throw torrent from the back of a truck, overtaking at night, on a newly laid road to boot. You are right, I have no idea how you avoided being killed.

Rider stupidity seems to be the self inflicted cause of this non injury, dangerous moment on a bike.

Hope you were 18 when this happened and you have learned a heap more since then.

doing a wheelie between two corners, and leaning it over to make it drop on a angle for cornering, and trying to make it with severe headshake while avoiding a toddler in the road.

Riding from sunfilled areas into deeply shaded areas, when the sun is low and in your face, (was safer) until you realised that your up the arse of the driver ahead of you.

PS: no one is going to try and text while riding backwards on their bike against the sun ... because its bloody hard to see what your texting when facing the sun!

The scariest moment is that nanosecond before that big gas guzzling, highlighted blonde, texting bitch driver slams her car into you.... If its happened to you, you'll understand that FLASH!

The scariest I had recently was the realisation that noise I'm hearing ain't something falling off the bike it's, the great mother of a side stand scraping in a sweeping left hander. No way that things gonna fold back if I just lean left a wee bit. Only option is to stay upright and pull off to the right somewhere to get it sorted.
