    New Zealand-made bike gear?

Im looking at getting my range of motorcycle apparel made in NZ. I know it will cost a bit more to make but i have found a great firm to help me make some great gear. Mainly Cordura gear but will be leathers later.
    So question:
Would you pay a bit more for good quality bike wear that is NZ made and waterproof?

I bought leather jeans from Celtic Leathers in Pahiatua. Not waterproof but made in NZ.

Well feedback is good, yes i know it will cost a bit more but i do the design work, source the materials at a good price and have a great team to make the gear at a good price. Wont be to expensive. Just use the right contacts in the trade.

Always happy to pay more for good quality.

The cheap stuff costs you more as it will not last.

Leda leathers, made in Stokes Valley. Excellent quality, custom made, reasonable prices. Real leather too, not Pakistan goat skin
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Once upon a time (yawn, there he goes again) most of our motorcycle gear was made in New Zealand...and it was pretty good stuff too,for the time. The rag trade was the first victim of joining the real world.

My leathers are Australian - you could get them custom made in a couple of days. But I'd never buy Australian leathers again - they have shrunk and don't fit anymore.
