Don't worry, I will be thinking of you when I'm sitting down for a beer after a hard days riding.

Was there a very long and tight downhill section through manuka trees and other scrub on one of the tracks - it ended up by quite a deep river crossing?
Whether you think you can or cant - you will always be right.

Broken rib and arm respectively. Hope you guys both heal up quickly!
Krad and me got home around 7:30. Both kinda knackered and sore. We did the dam buster (90k) and a couple of the little learner/home loop on Saturday, then did marsden's this morning, which I really liked. Hope everyone who did dam buster went and checked out the dam up close, it was quite amazing! Looked like something out of an MC escher drawing.
It was a pretty awesome ride. Getting to see all the army stuff was neat, and the scenery on the nature side of things was amaaaazing. I wasn't very good at the river crossings since they were so slippery. The uphill on dam buster (which was darn near vertical!) did me in too, my bikes not really a lugger, possibly could have done it if I'd taken a less loose line. The loose stone roads on dam buster were also awwwful, but on the other hand, the fast bits were really really fun. Apart from a couple hairy moments, it was really well marked out, and the ride seemed really well organised as far as recovery and sorting out all the stuff that got broken or damaged on the first day.
Gutted I've got work in the morning, I could really use a sleep in.
