    Question Eye twitch

The lower lid of my left eye has been sporadically twitching for the last 4 days, starting to get a bit annoying. Anyone know what causes this twitching and how I may be able to make it stop (short of holding my finger on it)?? Thanks!

Do you drink alot of coffee? or, any other beverages with caffeine in it? This is a common symptom. Nothing to worry about.

    Healthline: 0800611116

But I do get this same twitching issue when I have had a few late nights in a row.

Go to bed for a good sleeep and the extra hour tonight should sort you out!

Yep, crack withdrawl can do that to ya Trudes!

But seriously, I get it often and its been happeing for years. I have no idea what it is or what causes it. It comes on when I am tired or run down and sometimes when I feel a bit stressed. I found no cure but holding my finger on it either. Tell ya what, you go see the doc and tell me what they said...

Usually 2 cups a day, so not excessive amounts.

    Yep

Just got off the phone with Nasty and we've narrowed it down to eye strain/fatigue from the excessive amount of reading I've had to do in the last few weeks... and I've been forgetting to wear my reading glasses
So will try to remember to wear my glasses when reading and see if it helps. In the meantime I look like more of a spaz than I normally do with my twitchy eye
Thanks for the responses though peeps! I'll be back if the glasses don't solve the issue tho!

Bbbbbilly wwwwas mmmmy favourite character on One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Tired eyes Trudes, couple of days of glasses and good sleep should sort it. If it doesn't, go get it checked. Shit that is annoying though. Get Kendog to hold it for you

That's funny, I always thought it was just a side effect from being a sexual deviant.
