    Pmcc r3 choppa

    Just recieved my new s/h suzuki on friday so i thought id take it for a blast!! Chucked some dunlops on it, turned the race pattern gear shift back to mx gear shift and i was ready to go!

    Qualifying:

    Track was typical of Taupo, a little slippery but as long as you missed the patches not too bad!

    1st 1.32

    Race 1;

    Got away in 2nd, managed to pass for the lead on lap 2 and held it to the line. I was using a soft compound tyre on the back that was really slippery on the cold track but the bike was really easy to ride and it seemed easier to fix mistakes then on my previous bike.

    Track Record and PB of 1.30

    Race 2;

    Again got away in second, got on the gas a bit early and nearly highsided out of turn 1! Managed to pass for the lead at the end of lap 1 and cruise to the finish.

    Real happy with the bike, much better package then what ive had so fingers crossed with a bit of setup i can make some more improvements to my lap times on all the circuits. PMCC seemed to run a good event but might have had a few to many classes... It was great to back at a cruzy club day and talking shit to all the other kiwibikers!

    It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

    Congrats bro! Just realised you beat Hayden. Good shit man! That bike has broken the lap record twice now =).

    So did you get some gearing in the end? Did she have some more legs or what?!

    Yeah managed to score another sprocket off andrew for the back, prob could have gone a bit lower again but the power took enough getting used to without gearing it down even more haha Def a buzz to ride though, puke tomorrow...
