Have had to pull my air horns off, no room under cowl any more for them.
Went to bang the stock horn on after sitting in a box for close to 5 years, and it does not go.
So anyone out there got a stock GSXR horn want to part with.
Cheers

Does the stock horn work best on sheep or cattle?

Have you tried hooking it up directly to the battery to test it? It seems strange that a horn would stop going just from sitting in a box.
BananaMan / Cajun / Neal:
Try it again, and this time wind the little adjustment screw thingie out a bit (say, a half turn), then in a bit. If it's been sitting there asleep for a while, nothing's broken, it's just the doofer in the middle may be a liitle corroded ands seized up. I had one that stopped working, and a leetle feedling was all it took to get it going again.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Got an SV horn you could have cheap...sounds like a wasp trapped in a tin mind you...

It was in the box with gixxer bits but it looks way too old to be a gixxer one.
