    FS: RG250 bits

Sold my rg some months ago and the guy hasn't replied to any correspondence I've sent him to come pick them up. I've since moved house and need to get rid of some clutter at my new place as I'm never going to use all this stuff!

Basically got a few boxes full of misc RG250 parts, pre powervalve model.
    included is:
-Bottom end of an engine - doesn't have anything above the conrods.. no barrels/pistons etc. rumoured to be a good gearbox but it dropped a piston.
-Fairing parts. good cond fornt fairing in primer. side parts under seat in fair cond. belly fairing (glass copy) that's pretty smashed up...
    -set of factory wheels
    -misc electrical/brake/suspension parts.

Not sure what I'm after for these. hundy or two would be great but would also be super keen on a swap for a good 2ndhand jacket/pants in large size, roughly.

In Johnsonville, Wellington. can drop off around wellington and perhaps further north, may be able to organise shipping

Stink, hubby has the same combo on his RG framed bucket, he's looking for a set of 17s (like every other bucketeer out there). Thanks tho.

probably already know it but there's some gsxr400 3 spoke ones that go striaght on and run the same brakes, in the more desirable sizes

I didn't know about the GSXR400 wheels, but I will keep an eye open for those.
I have been told swapping to 17s may mess with the geometry of the bike.

Do you have the side stand by any chance?

nah no side stand. would you guys be interested in much of it or is your rg too far removed form the original by ways of body parts etc for it to be of use to you? feel free to jump across to j-ville to have a gander at what i've got if you want.....
wheel conversion is a commonplace thing. i can't see how it'd cozk up the geometry if the correct sized tyres are fitted. the unsprung weight increase should be the only thing to mess with it and i don't see that increasing by any real amount that would cause problems.
careful which model gsx/gsxr you grab them off too as there's a few variants.I don't recall the frame # or year of the exact model off hand sorry. i guess you'd do more research before undertaking such a thing anyways

I don't really need anything for it now, the side stand is a bit of a nice to have but it's happy leaning or on the race stand.

It's running everything stock from the RG except the engine, exhaust and body work. Seems to go pretty well, just needs the pilot to ride faster
