Hawke's Bay weekend rides

Hell you go to work for a few days and come back to have a catch up read and it takes all day.

Aye new Guy….. yep you …. Welcome to the mad house mate. Come along for a ride sometime. Some of the old farts go too fast and some of us go slow but we all end up at the same place and all talk about bikes and stuff so I recon you will enjoy.

Have a great Easter people. Hope to get out and ride with you but got da family here so think I will do a lot of that stuff.

Keep doin it and ride safe but enjoy it.

Whooo whoooo got a new rider to teach. Just love doin that stuff. Bring on the weekend.

Will have to be one day or the other for me. I will have to work at least one day this weekend and was thinking either Friday Or Saturday, depending on the rides. Mmm that does also leave Sunday and Monday for riding

lol cheers for the comments guys. Im keen just for a short ride this weekend. Supposed to be time with the partner as the v8 weekend is all about me lol. Looking at 2 hours tops from leaving home to getting home (yes i know im whipped lol).

And can anyone answer me this please. Just got a shoei xr1000 in large (second hand). And shes a bit big for my head. Can i get medium padding anywhere in bang it in to make it a better fit? If so where from and how much am i looking at.

You should always buy a NEW helmet, and make sure it fits properly before you buy it. You only get one haed, and presumably you keep your brains there, so you'd best be looking after it!
I don't know if you can get padding for them, but pop on down to FiveStar Suzuki (a plug for our favourite racer's sponsor!) and talk to the chappies there.

How does the Sat ride I suggested sit then?

Yes you definatly can, i have the same helmet for racing. pop on down to FIVESTAR Suzuki and tell them Patrick Doohan sent you, they'll sort you out
