The Mustang sounds great with that dirty big Hamilton Standard prop on it!
Did you get a sound clip of the Corsair?

LOL... yeah, do you know the reason they sound like that? (read below if you answer 'no' mover to next post if you answer 'yes')

they dont have throtels, speed is managed by the means of magneto's being switched on and off, they usually have 3 switchs 1 switch kills 1 mag, 1 switch kills 2 mags and the other 3 mags, ie: flick em all off and all 6 stop.

I've heard mention of the Bristol Freighter in the news. Was it flying or just doing engine runs?

I may very well be working in the wairarapa in the near future, based at Masterton aerodrome, so hopefully may get to hear the Corsair in person

yeah I learned that to my surprise a few years ago, looks like hard work to keep a sopwith camel ticking over, not to mention the total loss castor oil lubrication.....

an f111 would have been nice though, how about a vampire?

just taxiing about, had a load of silly italian scooters riding in and out of it.

I was hoping for a tail up run, that would have been impressive
