    Wouldn't they ride a little bit due to the unevenness of the disc? Or do brake pads return far enough that this doesn't matter?

    Na no isse there, my idea was just roughen and clean them up a bit to make them more effective. Hey it seemed to work.

    For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

    Its all sweet if you are smart about it, being even and all.
    I've only ever done it by hand with emry, flapper disk would save about half an hour of work!

    Makes perfect sense, and i could see a huge gain in it =). Good thinking.
