Ooh a CBX ... nice one! Need a hand getting it back into running order? (check this link out http://www.cbxclub.com/) I just got Betsy working nicely again as well (a real slapper of a RZ350) ... so I'm sure she would be loving to ride with a CBX!
Okay, cool. Who else is in for a Friday night Swarm?

It is a nice one, I've had it for a long time. It has some very cool bling, and I'd sell both lungs before I gave it up. Umm, I need to bleed the rear brake, change an o-ring on the fuel tap, and unglue the throttle cables (which have gunked up from not being used). Then I can ride her to the Warrant station and get her stickered.

    GSXRTrace - babe, you in?

also from the Yamaha website: "And, as you’d expect, the YZF-R125 is packed with advanced MotoGP technology"

EDIT: this just in, non-live coverage of last nights Knee Down Session!

Might just have to be... had my baby serviced today so could treat her to a ride! And hopefully Ill get enough work done tomorrow that will be able to come out to play!
    What time and place?

So, am I a cc snob or sport bike snob, or simply can't get enough of my baby?Took the bike in for a service and Haldane's were awesome enough to give me replacement bike for the day... and well after riding around this morning and evening on another bike, my bike felt soooo much better to get onto, and also loved the power... so am I bike snob?

Nah, not a bike snob, you just love your baby!
i had the same feeling when i got stuck on a loan bike for a day when mine got checked out. It got me around fine, but it just wasnt the same, and i LOVED it when i got back on mine. Mind you, i DID get stuck on a CBR250R...

Yeah they gave me a 250 GN, and no offence to all those who love them, cause yes they are sturdy little things and there are a million of them around auckland, but it didn't feel right... not only was it tiny and not much power to it... it didn't feel like a bike should as your sitting far too much upright on it. At least my old two fiddy felt half way towards a bigger bike (right position and a decent size)! So yes i probably am a cc and sport bike snob... but it sure does make you appreciate your own baby!!

Hmm, I may come! Where is the ride headed?
Do we get to go to a delicious dinner place?

I have a 13 hour shift on Saturday, so will no doubt turn into a pumpkin *suprise suprise*

/edit re. biker snobbery, I used to look forward to services because I'd always be treated with fancy lavish bikes to loan .. but I love my current bike so much I don't look forward to giving my best steel friend away for the day
