Survival after things go tits up...

Us bikers seem to be a high risk group,
So we try to minimise the risk to life and limb with a variety of skills, tricks and rabbitfeet.
Sometimes however, all that is not enough, and things go wrong.
That's when we rely on the efficiency and proficiency of the emergency services......
We expect the system to do it's utmost best to keep us or our loved ones alive at all cost....
Not much we can do other then hope and wait and..........

hope somebody donated a bit of matching blood recently....

    Yes this is all true.

Quite often survival depends upon good fortune. Best to try and reduce this dependancy.

Being in the wrong place at wrong time can leave you totally dependent upon the actions of others.

I hope I never need blood, but if I do I hope there is some...
Made me think...so I went out and donated some.
In case somebody else needs it.

    Just sharing a thought

Come practice aikido - it'll improve your breakfalls.

Other than that - pray. It's as good as anything, mind I don't believe in a god myself - only in the conservation of momentum and that means either you hit something or you don't. Only thing you can affect is really whether you slide or tumble and to some extent how likely you are to break anything when you hit the ground.

Of course there's always ATGATT the only religion I observe.

Maybe promoting blood donation from KBers would be a good thing.

was trying to promote it in a subtle way......
what goes around comes around etc....
Donating a bit of blood is no trouble,
answering a load of questions to a helpfull friendly nurse,
    5 min on a recliner,
and a cuppa and bisquit to top it all off.

Hope somebody will benefits from it.

I've donated blood three times so far. It doesn't hurt that much and you get a ton of free biscuits (most of which are chocolate coated...yum) afterward. I'm A+ which is second most common?

Already donate on a regular basis, for similar reasons. It doesn't hurt and you never know when it might be yoru turn or the turn of a loved one.
So come on guys and girls go give a pint for a change.
Thanks to to all those emergency services guys and girls who take the time to learn how to revive and repair us ordinary people.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
