    Tank capacity?

Anyone know how much their tank hold or how many kms they get from a tank... Mines an 88 GSXR, think it holds 20L this sound right? (Havent used a full tank yet tho)

The tank on my Hyoslug is 17 litres. I usually get about 320-350 ks out of a tank, 400 if I ride like a nana.

If things are going badly in our circumstances, the answer to what is happening to us outwardly is more often than not found in the mirror.

Yeah I have a small tank and I have the odometer on all the time. I can go 180 plus a few more but haven't stretched is yet as can't be buggered pushing or hitching.
My suggestion is if you have speedo/odometer you check this and try it out one time (...at band camp) with a mate handy with a can just in case!!
You will soon find out. And different bikes have different petrol consumption. Mine is exceptional, of course! Never run out as me mate tells me how far I can go - he used to own it!! Well technically he still does, BUT he lends it to me on a permanent basis that he will get an occasional favour

Iv'e done a few km's now and have not once concidered calculating this.......my philosophy is....."gas goes in one end, exhaust goes out the other and some money stuff is exchanged over the counter". When my gauge starts flashing and the cycle repeats all over again.

My 88 GSX-R has a 17 litre tank. Before dynokit and new needles, it was doing about 12k/l. Now it does about 16k/l. That is about as good as I expect it will get. I'm talking 750 here; not sure what you have...

    1978 XS1100E = 6.2 gallon [UK] = 28.185758 liter tank capacity

My GSF 250 does about 150-180km to a 13L tank depending on speed and hills etc. Not as much as it should do but then the previous owner had the gearing altered from factory and I've not replaced the sprokets yet.

Only 12L tank on the Across + 2L reserve. Can get 200km from a tank, haven't really tested the limits though.
